New Zealand Chamber Soloists – Lara Hall (L), James Tennant, Katherine Austin (R)

New Zealand Chamber Soloists

The New Zealand Chamber Soloists were formed in 2006 from a range of artists who have connections with the University of Waikato, and all of whom have national and international careers as performers. They are passionate about revitalising classical music as a spontaneous and vitally alive experience.

"Throughout this disc the playing of the New Zealand Chamber Soloists gets it right, identifying with and capturing the character of each work with terrific energy, single-minded determination and heartfelt feeling. The production features a well laid-out booklet with helpful liner notes by Robert Johnson, and the recording gives a vivid and compelling presence to the music-making."
